Runs on 4 AA batteries or ac adapter included. Randomly runs thru 15 built in patterns (sound active).  7" x 6" x 2".  2 lbs. current draw < 0.5 amp. ***4.9 milliwatt lasers are the strongest you can use in the U.S. without a licensed operator. For best results you should have a totally dark room and several lasers.
